Wellinghill Farm Services offers a professional and reliable service to its customers.

We take Health & Safety very seriously and have full insurance for Employers Liability.All types of ponies and horses are welcome so long as they are geldings or mares.

Wellinghill is in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and every care is taken to keep the environment well maintained

Apart from the many rides available to Cleeve hill and Leckhampton Hill there is also about 10 acres of riding available at Wellinghill.

The proprieter, JohnBayston has had a lifetime experience of caring for and riding horses. Starting as a youngster in Cotswold Pony Club and gaining success in Prince Philip Games, show jumping and OneDay Eventing. In later years playing polo at Cirencester Polo Club and Hunting for the Cotswold.

The Farm has been owned and farmed for the last 40 years and when John retired from horse riding the farm has extended its sheep farming activities  to include horse grazing and Alpaca breeding

The team working on the Farm and helping to keep your stay here enjoyable is

Mark who is the expert in tractor and JCB work. He maintains the fields with harrowing and rolling plus Poo Heap collection.

Laura and Leanne are qualified instructors .Morgan ,Chesni and Steve provide horse assistance and horse care if you are working or on holiday or if you want Part Livery

John's son Mark who has his own Gardencare business assists in Field and Grass Management and fencing repair. He lives on site with his wife Laura and family. Mark is assisted by Chris with Farm care management 

The Farm provides a haymaking service and also haylage.

Hard feeds are provided by Delahooke Feed Services every week.

We can not allow our horse rentals their own deliveries as this would cause too much vehicle congestion. 

The farm is split into  paddocks that take one to three horses. At any one time about half the available fields are resting

Coffee and toilet facilities. Dogs are allowed but must be on a lead in Yard area.

A central noticeboard is used to improve communication. We have our own closed Facebook site so ride outs can be arranged and requests for help with horse care posted.

We specialise in giving individual attention to each horse and user. We can arrange for own field use or sharing with others. We are particularly careful to ensure that your horses mixes well with others.

We can arrange flat fields, strip grazing for greedy horses or larger fields to suit.
