Wellinghill Farm has been owned and farmed by proprietor John Bayston for the last 40 years. When John retired from horse riding the farm extended it's sheep farming activities to include horse livery services and Alpaca breeding.
Wellinghill is a family run farm and every care is made to make sure the environment is well maintained.
All livery is on a DIY basis. We welcome all people of all abilities as long as they love horses and want to care for them. Horses and ponies must be mares or geldings.
All liveries are provided with a good size stable and store area as well as access to two outdoor floodlit riding arenas and extensive off road hacking. You will be allocated a paddock for grazing which is typically shared with one other. Paddocks are rotated over summer and winter months to allow grass to be maintained.
A range of hay, straw and bedding is available, this must be ordered on site and is delivered to stables on a weekly basis.
Wellinghill Farm Livery is a family run business originally set up by John Bayston. John has had a lifetime of experience in caring for and riding horses. Starting as a youngster in Cotswold Pony Club and gaining sucess in Prince Philip Games, show jumping and one day eventing.
